He took over the legacy after Karl Lagerfeld's death, integrating modern technologies such as AI into the design process and combining Parisian chic with a contemporary "rock-chic" aesthetic. Before joining Lagerfeld, he worked for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren.
