Tabata Mey, born Rainho Goncalves, is a Brazilian chef. Since 2024, she has been head chef at the restaurant Ombellule in Lyon, alongside her husband Ludovic Mey; the restaurant has held one Michelin star since 2025. Her previous restaurant, Les Apothicaires, had already been awarded a Michelin star. Tabata Mey became known to the general public as Tabata Bonardi (her married name from her first marriage) during season 3 of Top Chef, broadcast on M6 in 2012, where she was a semi-finalist. She was also “the first woman appointed by Paul Bocuse to head one of his establishments”.
