A completely lost early ITV sitcom with strong similarities to the popular radio series The Navy Lark. HMS Paradise is set at a Royal Navy station on an island off the Dorset coast where very little actual work takes place.
Captain, art thou sleeping above?
Come out lieutenant ross, wherever you are
An officer and a gentleman
The sea does not want them
I don't know the name and the face escapes me
It'll all come out in the wash
You'll get no promotion this side of the ocean
Call me madam and i'll punch you on the nose
Don't fire that man, he's loaded
You have been listening to radio paradise
And a happy bastille day to you too
In which we serve a drop of the hard stuff
Mutiny on the boonsey
Having a wonderful time — glad you're not here
Anybody wanna buy an island?
Thar's gold in them thar holes
'twas on the good ship venus
Our man on boonsey
There is no excuse for slipshod paperwork
What am i offered for this lot?
How to try in business without really succeeding
Let that be a four minute warning to you
The new lieutenant
Christmas special: hms paradise meets hms eagle
